The Tweed business community sparkled on Friday 26 June as around 300 local businesspeople gathered at Twin Towns Club for the 2026 Tweed Business Awards. The event was proudly presented by the Tweed Chamber of Commerce, following months of planning and organising by its dedicated committee members. Guests embraced this year’s “Sparkle and Shine” theme in style, creating a vibrant and memorable atmosphere from the moment doors opened.

Set against the magnificent backdrop of Jack Evans Boat Harbour, the afternoon began with relaxed networking. Attendees connected, collaborated and celebrated the strength of the Tweed’s business landscape. The sense of community was unmistakable, with conversations flowing as easily as the harbour views.
Getting Down to Business
The formal proceedings were brought to life by the wonderfully funny Ellen Briggs, whose warmth and humour kept the audience engaged throughout. Guests enjoyed a delicious luncheon served by the incredible Twin Towns team, adding another highlight to an already exceptional event.
Finalists waited with a mix of nerves and excitement as the awards presentations commenced. As each category was announced, the room filled with anticipation. One by one, winners and Highly Commended recipients were revealed, each announcement met with enthusiastic applause. There were smiles, laughter and a few happy tears as the achievements of local businesses were recognised. From emerging enterprises to established business leaders, each finalist embodied the innovation, resilience and dedication that continues to drive the Tweed forward.
