Excellence in Small Business

The Excellence in Small Business Award recognises a local business that has effectively driven growth in revenue, size of team and/or operational growth. Entrants will need to demonstrate the specific strategies they implemented to enable them to achieve success and/or resilience.

ENTRY CRITERIA

Entrants must demonstrate their achievements over the past 12 months in relation to the key areas of business excellence. Entry is open to businesses that have been trading for at least 24 months and 5 to 20 employees as of the closing date of 13 June 2024.

Award eligibility check box

  • This business has been trading for a continuous period of two years or more and is not bankrupt or trading insolvent at the time of entry.
  • This business has 5 to 20 employees on the payroll in Australia at the time of entry.
  • This business has not entered the categories of Outstanding Community Organisation, Outstanding Start-up, Excellence in Micro Business or Excellence in Business.
  • A representative of this business has not been a judge in this category in 2023.
  • A representative of this business is not a judge in the 2024 Business Awards program.
